Old Fashioned Cleaning Tricks

There are a multitude of different old fashioned cleaning tricks that are available for most of us to employ when cleaning our homes. Hopefully, this house cleaning routine will be enough to ensure that the house and everything in it is being properly cared for. In this case, there are some inexpensive, ordinary household items that are available to help achieve the desired results with the least amount of time, money and effort. If you are looking for simple but effective old fashioned cleaning tricks, then read on. Here are some of the tips that you may want to consider.

For example, when cleaning windows try washing the windows with a little vinegar mixed with some warm water. Then wipe the window panes dry with a simple paper towel instead of a piece of cloth in order to avoid the streaks. Paper towels, as an added benefit, will never leave a lint film behind.

And presto, you will have a squeaky clean window glass. Ever try removing dust with a fancy, expensive dust cloth? How long is that piece of furniture dust free? Instead, simply ever so slightly dampen an old wash clothe, skim the surface of your furniture and the dust is completely gone. How about an ugly stain in your kitchen sink? Simply mix liquid dish soap with baking soda to form a paste. Wet a sponge, apply some of the fore mentioned paste, rub until the stain disappears and then rinse well. Stain should be gone.

Modern technology is great but you can't beat the old fashioned cleaning tricks that our parents told us about so many years ago.
