How to Clean Your House

Cleaning the house is a huge task. There are a number of ways of cleaning every item inside your house. How to clean them can be quite tricky. Of course, you can hire professional cleaners who can do it faster since they know all the speed cleaning techniques but you still can do it on your own if you know exactly what to do. And knowing what to do is as easy as browsing cleaning tips on the internet. Below are some items inside the house that are the hardest to clean.

Kitchen Countertops

You can ask your neighbors or parents on how to clean countertops more efficiently if you have no idea at what you are doing. You better ask questions before doing or applying anything or you risk ruining your home items. Cleaning the kitchen countertops should be easier if you do not let food residues stay overnight after every meal. You can have some cleansing fluid on a cloth and wipe the countertop after clearing it.

Let the cleanser sit for a while before you rinse it off with water. Make sure that all the residue of the detergent is wiped off to avoid contaminating your food.

Glassware

Aside from the fact that you need to be extra careful at handling them, you cannot simply assign them to your kids. Oftentimes, you have to do it yourself. Check the guidelines on how to clean glassware before you start doing it. These items are really expensive and will require extra caution. If they have hard stains on them, better remove them first by using a soft pad soaked in vinegar. You can then dip them quickly in lukewarm water and place it upside down to let water drip.

Carpets

It is best to remove and clean it outside. Use a vacuum cleaner to get off all that dust and soil. You must remember that once your carpet got some stain, you should try to remove it right away or you risk making it a permanent tinge. Carpets can also house dust mites so you need to have it cleaned regularly and have it dry cleaned twice a year. How to clean a carpet properly means daily vacuuming.

Toilet Bowl

Of course, cleaning the toilet bowl is probably the most hated job of everyone. After all people think that the dirtiest part of the house is the bathroom when in fact it is actually the kitchen. How to clean a toilet bowl? First, rinse the bowl with water and pour some bleach mixed with water on the lid and into the bowl. Let it sit for a period of time before using the brushes to clean the inside and outer parts. Scrub it to remove excess residues and wash it all of with water.

How to Clean Drains You always have problem with drains in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. How to clean them can be really taxing especially when some plastic residues got stuck somewhere in the pipes and they are clogging the drains and starting to emit some awful smell. Use some strong cleansing chemical to unclog it or make use of baking soda and boiling water to unblock the passageway.

Start the cleaning job by doing those that requires more time or some waiting period. While letting the carpet dry properly or the chemicals to settle more, you can do other stuff inside your house. As a speed cleaning tactic, use your time wisely.
